CPR Online Course Information

Northern Inyo Hospital provides Skills Checks on specific dates for students who complete the following American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Online courses:

• BLS for HealthCare Providers Online part 1
• HeartCode BLS part 1
• Heartsaver CPR & AED Online part 1
  
  
  
• There are a limited number of appointment times available.
  
  
• Interested students MUST secure an appointment for a skills check PRIOR to completing the online course. 
  
  
• Send email to kathryn.erickson@nih.org to register. 
  
  
• Include your phone number and the date for which you wish to register.
  
  
• Only American Heart Association Online Courses are accepted.  Find your course at www.onlineaha.org
  
  
• Participants must present a valid AHA Online course completion certificate at the time of the skills check.
  
  
• At the present time, NIH does not provide skills checks for any First Aid course.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course des not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
