ACLS Heartcode Online Course Information

Northern Inyo Hospital provides Skills Checks for students who choose to RENEW by completing the ACLS HeartCode self-study course.

There are a limited number of appointment dates and times available.

Interested students MUST secure an appointment for a skills check PRIOR to completing the ACLS HeartCode course.

Participants must present a valid AHA ACLS HeartCode course completion certificate at the time of the skills check.

ACLS Challenge Test

Northern Inyo Hospital provides an ACLS Challenge Test for students who choose to RENEW by testing out. The test consists of:

Successful demonstration of “Management of Respiratory Arrest”

Successful demonstration of “Adult 1-Rescuer CPR and AED”

Successful demonstration of “Megacode Testing”

Student must score at least 84% on the ACLS written exam on first attempt

There is NO practice time and NO retesting is permitted

Course size is limited

Pre-registration is required
