ACLS Heartcode Online Course Information
This Web-based eLearning course provides the cognitive portion (Part 1) of the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course, and can be used for initial or renewal certification. Features eSimulation technology to let students participate in realistic patient scenarios, assess patients, and formulate treatment -- online and at their own pace. Course participants who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate granting them entrance to a skills practice session (Part 2) and skills test (Part 3) with a certified American Heart Association ACLS instructor, which they must pass to qualify for an ACLS course card.
ACLS Heartcode is PC and Mac® compatible.
Only a course completion certificate earned by completing the American Heart Association Approved Course found at www.onlineaha.org will be accepted for a skills session.
Northern Inyo Hospital provides Skills Session at no charge for students who complete the ACLS HeartCode online self-study course.
There are a limited number of appointment dates and times available.
Interested students MUST secure an appointment for a skills session PRIOR to completing the ACLS HeartCode online course.
Participants must complete the online course and present a valid AHA ACLS HeartCode course completion certificate at the time of the skills sessiion.
