Board Vice President
M.C. Hubbard, a retired Banking executive, represents Zone V on the NIHD Board of Directors. She has served on the NIHD Board since 2006. In that time, she has held all board offices, including two terms as Board President.
Mrs. Hubbard worked in Banking for more than 30 years, retiring as Vice President and Branch Manager of Union Bank of California, Bishop. She remains active in the local community as well as the Association of California Healthcare Districts. She has served on the boards of many local volunteer and service organizations including Sunrise Rotary, Eastern Sierra Music Festival, Donald M. Slager Sunset Foundation, Sierra Business Council, Altrusa of the Eastern Sierra, and Bishop Mule Days Celebration.
Mrs. Hubbard said she always tries finding the “good-for-the-whole” in any situation, especially in her role with NIHD. “My commitment is to find a balance that best serves my constituents, NIHD’s patients and its employees,” she said. “When our communities coming together to consistently improve healthcare services for Northern Inyo Healthcare District, we all win. With this commitment and these beliefs in mind I want to be sure that every member of our communities feels proud to have NIHD here to serve them.”
She and her husband, Ron, live in Big Pine and have one daughter, two grandsons and three great-grandchildren
