CPR & First Aid

Northern Inyo Healthcare District is pleased to offer certified American Heart Association (AHA) Hands-On Skill Sessions for CPR and First Aid. These courses are offered by appointment depending on community response and instructor availability.

What is a Skill Session?

Skill Sessions are part of a blended learning format, meaning there is a self-directed online course and a separate hands-on course. Blended learning provides community members with the freedom to complete sections of their training in the convenience of their own home.

Skills Sessions are offered for a charge at NIHD and are available after the self-directed online course is completed through the AHA website. Skills Sessions are not included with the purchase of the self-directed online course. Skill Sessions are offered by appointment with limited times available. We strongly encourage registering for a Skills Session prior to starting the online course.
