Bishop residents, you can make a life-saving difference this holiday season.
The Bishop Community Blood Drive is set for Tuesday, November 28, and Wednesday, November 29, at the Bishop Elks Hall, 151 East Line Street, Bishop. Donations times are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday.
Bishop's last blood drive was a great success, with 123 donors rolling up their sleeves, allowing Vitalant Blood Services to collect 134 life-saving units. These donations touched the lives of an estimated 402 hospital patients in need.
Every donation counts, offering second chances and countless tomorrows. It takes just an hour and is one of the simplest ways to give back to the community. Have you never donated before? We urge you to take the leap. Because of you, life doesn't stop.
