About David

Dr. Pomeranz is an emergency physician at Northern Inyo Hospital originally from Reno, Nevada. He studied civil engineering at Cornell University and then attended the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. His residency training was completed at LA County+USC followed by a wilderness medicine fellowship at Stanford University. Since childhood Dr. Pomeranz grew up skiing, climbing and backpacking throughout the Eastern Sierra and since moving to Bishop in 2016 he has been an active rescue member with the Inyo County Sheriff's Department Search & Rescue Team.
