About Robbin

A graduate of University of Nevada’s School of Medicine in Reno, Dr. Cromer-Tyler completed her five-year residency in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee in 1992.

She is Board-certified and has recertified twice, last being in 2015. After practicing in a rural community of lower Alabama she moved back to Bishop in 2007. Dr. Cromer-Tyler moved back to the Eastern Sierra to be closer to her family in Reno.

She continues to expand her knowledge and skill, particularly in gallbladder and hernia surgeries that can be done robotically. She enjoys skiing and some hiking. Her husband Jim, is known to some for his filming of the Bishop Bronco football team.
