Sue Park, PMHNP

About Sue

Sue Park, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), has served NIHD since March 2023.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, earned in 2013 and 2015. Sue earned her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification in 2021.

Sue chose to work in psychiatry/mental health as she believes understanding an individual’s behavioral, psychiatric, spiritual, and medical components can help improve a person’s overall wellness. In doing so, Sue appreciates each person’s unique story.

She aims to provide a space of support and compassion for exploring what health means to each person with the goal of helping them apply what they learn and discover to their daily lives for enhanced well-being.

Sue provides psychiatric care through medications while looking at the medical factors affecting mental health, and through collaboration with primary care providers, therapists, and other care providers. In addition, she provides recommendations for behavioral and lifestyle changes as medications are only part of the answer to mental health problems. For psychotherapy, she refers patients as needed.

Sue and her husband, a pharmacist, have called the Owens Valley home since 2017. “It truly has become our home, and we feel lucky to say this is our community,” Sue says.

Patients are by referral.

The best telephone number to call about Sue's services is (760) 873-2075, the Northern Inyo Associates Virtual Care Clinic.
