About This Event
- Event Type:Educational Event
Northern Inyo Healthcare District invites the community to attend a free Healthy Lifestyle Talk on Advanced Knee Replacement Care, presented by orthopedic surgeon Michael M. Karch, MD, of Mammoth Orthopedic Institute.
The presentation will take place Tuesday, May 5 at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Lobby of Northern Inyo Hospital and is open to the public. No registration is required.
During this informative session, Dr. Karch will introduce the Jiffy Knee™ protocol, a muscle- and tendon-sparing approach to knee replacement surgery designed to support faster recovery and improved mobility. He will also explain how this advanced surgical option is available locally for patients who choose to receive their care at Northern Inyo Hospital.
For many people across the Eastern Sierra, knee pain can affect work, recreation, and everyday movement. This talk offers an opportunity to learn more about modern treatment options, what to expect from knee replacement surgery, and how patients can access advanced orthopedic care close to home.
Healthy Lifestyle Talks are part of Northern Inyo Healthcare District’s ongoing commitment to share practical health information with the community in a welcoming and accessible setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from a specialist and gain a clearer understanding of treatment choices that support long-term joint health.
Those interested in scheduling an orthopedic consultation may call (760) 873-2605.
