Northern Inyo Healthcare District invites the public to a Healthy Lifestyle Talk with Dr. Anne Gasior on “Breathe Easier: Diagnosing and Treating Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever).” The free talk takes place Monday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. at the NIHD Birch Street Annex, 2957 Birch Street in Bishop. Refreshments will be served.
Allergic rhinitis, often called hay fever, is common in the Eastern Sierra where sagebrush, rabbitbrush, and other native plants produce seasonal pollen. Dr. Gasior, a longtime Bishop family physician, trained with the late Dr. Bill Beck to continue providing allergy testing and treatment tailored to local conditions.
Dr. Gasior has practiced in Bishop since 1999, first with Toiyabe Indian Health Project and now with NIHD’s Rural Health Clinic. She joined NIHD in 2013.
