Have Your Voice Heard in the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment

Northern Inyo Healthcare District and Southern Inyo Healthcare District are partnering on a joint Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to better understand the health priorities of Inyo County. We invite all residents to share their perspectives through a brief community survey that will help guide future services and programs.

What Is a Community Health Needs Assessment?

A CHNA is a comprehensive report designed to assess the overall health and wellness of a community. It helps local health systems, government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations identify the key health challenges our community faces to address the specific needs of our residents. By identifying gaps and priorities, the CHNA guides strategic planning for programs and policies that improve the health and well-being of everyone in our area.

What Will the CHNA Produce?

Survey results will outline the most urgent health needs in our area, such as behavioral health concerns, access-to-care challenges, and chronic disease trends. These findings will help Northern Inyo Healthcare District and Southern Inyo Healthcare District develop focused, measurable strategies to address the issues residents identify as most important. The CHNA becomes a key planning tool for shaping services that meet the community’s evolving needs.
