Respiratory
Respiratory care is an allied health specialty concerned with the treatment, management, control and care of an individual’s breathing with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for both inpatients and outpatients. The staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide patients from neonatal to geriatric with all aspects of respiratory care.
Our respiratory team is credentialed as registered respiratory therapists (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care as well as licensed by the State of California. Included in the team is a Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist, Neonatal and Pediatric Specialist as well as Smoking Cessation Facilitator.
The respiratory staff also serves on the lifesaving response team to help patients with breathing difficulties due to injury, cardiac, or respiratory arrest.
