Northern Inyo Healthcare District (NIHD) posts Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for professional services, equipment, construction, technology, and other procurement opportunities as organizational needs arise. Organizations and qualified professionals interested in partnering with NIHD to support healthcare in California's Eastern Sierra can find current solicitations, supporting documents, and proposal information on this page.

Since 1946, NIHD has served the communities of the Eastern Sierra, providing access to healthcare close to home. Today, the District offers inpatient, outpatient, emergency, primary and specialty care through its 25-bed critical access hospital, Rural Health Clinic, specialty clinics, and diagnostic and support services.

NIHD issues RFPs as organizational, facility and program needs arise. Because opportunities vary throughout the year, there is no regular RFP schedule.

DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT

Northern Inyo Healthcare District, a 25 bed critical access hospital in Bishop California is seeking proposals from individuals and/or practices that would be interested in the opportunity to provide professional diagnostic imaging services to our district and our communities.

Bishop is a remote location in Central California that is surrounded by scenic beauty and limitless outdoor activities. Bishop is approximately 250 miles North of Los Angeles and approximately 200 miles south of Reno Nevada.

The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Northern Inyo Healthcare District is a full service imaging provider offering state of the art technology in Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. In addition, the department has a robust breast health program consisting of Screening and Diagnostic Mammography, Breast MRI, Breast US, and stereotactic breast biopsies. The department performs about 25,000 exams / procedures annually across all modalities.

Qualified respondents must be able to provide onsite service Monday through Friday while providing interpretive services on a 24-7 basis. On-Site services must include no less than 50 percent breast imaging coverage and 50 percent interventional service coverage.
