Northern Inyo Associates Internal Medicine

Primary Care for Adults

At the Northern Inyo Healthcare District Internal Medicine & Geriatric Clinic, our goal is to provide outstanding care to adult patients. Internists are primary care providers who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of adult health conditions, while Geriatricians have completed additional specialized training in caring for our elderly patients who are more than 60 years of age. Your Internal Medicine & Geriatric provider will be your first call for most health problems and can provide you with referrals to specialty care services when needed.

Some of what we offer our patients:

  • Medication management and care coordination with specialists
  • Preventative care including vaccination and cancer screening
  • Evaluation and treatment of memory loss and other geriatric conditions (also available on a consultation basis)
  • Pre-operative evaluation and management for scheduled surgeries
  • Nursing appointments for blood pressure checks, wound care, and medication checks
  • Same or next day visits for acute problems
  • 24-hour on-call physician coverage
  • Nursing home care at Bishop Care Center
  • Annual Wellness Exams
  • Management of chronic medical conditions

Three experienced providers lead the Internal Medicine and Geriatric clinic. Our Internists and Geriatricians take a team-oriented approach to care and work collaboratively to provide optimal care.
